Wendi Russo has been an engaging hostess on ShopHQ Home Shopping Channel for 8 years and specializes in presenting fashion, beauty products, jewelry and gemstones and can be seen in 70 million homes nationwide via Comcast, Dish Network, Direct TV and as live streaming video.

Wendi is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.S in Business, has a Broadcast Journalism degree from UCLA, and is an Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP), Diamond Grader and a Colored Stone Grader with GIA (Gemological Institute of America).

Wendi enjoys teaching others as a Sales and Media Coach and has established a proven track record of successful Television clients. As a professional Union SAG actress, print model and a professionally trained voice over talent, Wendi's voice can be heard in promotional ads on ShopHQ for Macy's, Calvin Klein & Carson Kressley's new fashion line as well as infomercials, corporate narration, e-learning modules, websites, commercials, and motivational products. Her voice has been described as "bright, warm and without guile."

Wendi has been serving her community for the last 12 years helping to Better the lives of Children. She believes that children are our greatest resource and if children are given the tools to succeed, they will succeed beyond their wildest dreams. Volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kinship of Greater Minneapolis Mentoring, Make a-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Children's Hospital of MN, Children's Defense Fund Scholarship Foundation, Gillette Children's Cancer Research & Ronald McDonald House, Calendar for Conquering Cancer fundraiser.

Wendi has been giving back to other children through Mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Kinship, and was recently honored to be chosen as the "Real Strong Woman" by Alpha Chi Omega for her Mentoring volunteer hours. Wendi also serves as a speaker/advocate and Mentor with Kinship of Greater Minneapolis and has mentored 2 students through ACES (Athletes Committed to Educating Students). Wendi has emceed the Kinship annual fundraiser for 2 years in a row and was given the "Ambassador of the Month" Award for helping to recruit the highest number of mentors that month for the 150+ children waiting across Minnesota. Growing up in a single parent household, Wendi knows firsthand the importance a mentor can make in a child's self esteem and pursuit of one's dreams.
